Government of India to Censor Bloggers?

The recent news item published in the leading Indian dailies talking about government of India’s censorship on bloggers would be the biggest hurdle to one of the fundamental rights enshrined in the Indian constitution(Freedom of Speech). Yours truly was severely jolted with the proposed amendments being discussed by the Indian administrators and decision makers would be the worst day of Indian democracy. Personally, people like yours truly is a tad concerned with the move primarily because, three blogs are being managed, namely, www.manishankarthetrainer.blogspot.com , www.manishankarscribbles.wordpress.com , www.twitter.com/manitwitts with a motive of symbiotic learning and growth is helping in disseminate knowledge around the nook and corner of the globe. The recent issues of corruption being brought to the fore and the Indian media giving those news the much required headlines, not to forget the yeoman service being rendered by the bloggers on scruitnising each and every decision of the Indian judiciary and the executive would go for a toss, once bloggers are censored for their contents. What has pressed the panic button for the Indian decision makers is probably the recent uprisings where people power have taken over corrupt leaders cutting across nations and leadership. It’s time for the global bloggers to stand in full support with their Indian counterparts so as to reveal the proposed draconian law.
