Interacting with the young brilliant minds is always a source of inspiration and learning. It was indeed a walk down the memory lane while interacting with the ninth and tenth standard students of Indian School, Ibra, Sultanate of Oman on the 9th of June 2012. The curious minds were fast in analyzing a small case-let and came out with interesting insights about the same pertaining to career building. The interaction which followed the exercise was fantastic as the inquisitive minds, brimming with confidence were ever-ready to pose thought-provoking questions. The awareness level about basic contemporary jargons pertaining to management, business or even commerce was praiseworthy especially if one considers the fact that they are yet to cross even the elementary hurdle of their life, viz. matriculation. The topic for the mini workshop cum seminar hovered around an overview on career development in business and management. The volley of questions immediately after the conclusion of the session on career building were pointers that the knowledge driven citizens of tomorrow were getting ready to serve the society with determination, motivation and exuberance, which augurs very well for the human kind in general. Kudos are due to Principal Rochelle Lobo, Honorary School President, Prof. Valmeekam Srinivas and all the teaching and non-teaching staff members of the school for creating a learning centric environment within the four-walls of the school. Compliments to Prof. Vaseem Hashim for recommending yours truly for the session.
